I spent a week in Co-op’s head office to gather some professional experience. I shadowed a range of professionals including:
- Format proposition design manager
- Own brand design manager
- Product developer
- TeamITG design agency
In addition I helped develop Co-op’s new external window graphics for their stores which is now in roll out through their investment program. I spent time with the format proposition design manager and the deployment lead to create versions of the of how the window graphics could look. I came up with an idea of using a blue rectangle to represent the Co-op member card, this then would sit behind the images of the food.
The first time they were installed in a store was in November 2023 in Co-op’s shop in Ossett.
