I was tasked with creating a monogram using the initials of a family member. I chose my mum using the initials SL. I went for a heart shape to show how my mum is a caring and loving person who puts others before herself.
After designing the monogram I got the chance to use embroidery to put it onto a handkerchief. Since red wasn't an option I chose to go with orange as this was the closest.
I was then tasked with taking it further and finding another process I could use to represent my mum. Since my mum has a strong interest in hiking I used a rock and engraved the monogram onto it.
